Paul Druzinsky is an accomplished educational leader with more than 40 years of experience in independent schools, including boarding and day schools, as well as single-sex, Episcopal, and Jewish. He has served as either the permanent or interim head of school at The Branson School (CA), Rodeph Sholom School (NYC), The Avery Coonley School (IL), Elgin Academy (IL), and most recently The Independent School (KS).
Earlier in his career, Paul was associate head of school at Miss Porter’s School (CT) and head of the high school at St. Andrew’s Episcopal School (MS). Paul began his career at his alma mater, Francis W. Parker School (Chicago), where he spent nine years as a drama teacher, coach, advisor, homeroom teacher, and department chair. He later earned an Ed.M. in Educational Administration from Harvard University.
Over the course of his leadership career, Paul has played key roles in multiple successful capital campaigns, strategic planning initiatives, and curriculum development efforts. He also served for several years as a Commissioner on Accreditation for the New York State Association of Independent Schools (NYSAIS).
Throughout his career, Paul has been committed to fostering excellence in education, drawing on the strengths of both traditional and progressive approaches to meet the diverse needs of students.
